Celui-ci d\u00e9sirait s\u2019illustrer dans les raids sur le trajet Bruxelles \u00e0 Elisabethville (Congo).<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9tude est men\u00e9e par le jeune ing\u00e9nieur maison\u00a0: George Ivanow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p>Si les lignes g\u00e9n\u00e9rales sont celles du RSV 32 GII, il en diff\u00e8re notoirement par son envergure et sa surface alaire r\u00e9duite, un profil d\u2019aile plus fin et plus p\u00e9n\u00e9trant. Sa capacit\u00e9 d\u2019emport en carburant est augment\u00e9e avec un r\u00e9servoir principal plus volumineux et un suppl\u00e9mentaire positionn\u00e9 \u00e0 la place du passager avant (autonomie maximale de 2325 km ou 16 heures).<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p>Le train d\u2019atterrissage \u00e0 sandow est remplac\u00e9 par un train \u00e0 essieux coud\u00e9s et amortisseurs \u00e0 blocs de caoutchouc. Il est \u00e9quip\u00e9 de pneus basse pression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p>Le moteur retenu est le tout dernier moteur De Havilland Gipsy III, \u00a0mont\u00e9 en invers\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p>Les empennages sont redessin\u00e9s tout en conservant les m\u00eames surfaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p>Le r\u00e9sultat est un avion lourd, ce qui n\u2019est pas un handicap, le but \u00e9tant d\u2019engranger les kilom\u00e8tres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p>Face cette course effr\u00e9n\u00e9e aux records, la r\u00e9glementation internationale appliqu\u00e9e aux raides d\u2019avions l\u00e9gers est durcie, et, ni le pilote, ni l\u2019avion, ne r\u00e9pondront aux nouvelles conditions en la mati\u00e8re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p>Comme la base de d\u00e9part a \u00e9t\u00e9 profond\u00e9ment modifi\u00e9e sans l\u2019aide de Renard, l\u2019appareil est identifi\u00e9 en tant que SV3. (Ceux qui auraient pu devenir les SV1 et SV2 n\u2019ont pas d\u00e9pass\u00e9 le stade de la planche \u00e0 dessin).<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p>Au dernier moment, le projet se trouve donc abandonn\u00e9. L\u2019OO-JYM retrouvera ses deux places et sera utilis\u00e9 en simple avion de tourisme, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 sa radiation en 1946.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019avion, initialement de couleur cr\u00e8me dans sa version monoplace de record, \u00a0fut rev\u00eatu, par la suite, d\u2019une teinte aluminium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019immatriculation \u00e9tait bleu p\u00e2le.
